Rhassoul Clay is a rare volcanic clay mined from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and has been used for centuries in traditional skin care. It has an exceptionally high mineral content and a unique ability to absorb excess oil and impurities from the skin while simultaneously softening and smoothing. Unlike kaolin clays, Rhassoul has a finer texture and a slightly higher absorbency, making it ideal for a deep yet gentle cleanse. It's one of the most prized ingredients in natural skin care and one of the things that makes Sandalwood Bourbon a truly special bar.

Sandalwood Bourbon contains fine mineral sand — a natural, pool-grade exfoliant that gently buffs away dead skin cells without the harsh micro-tears caused by synthetic scrubs or walnut shell fragments. The result is skin that feels genuinely smooth and polished, not irritated. Combined with Rhassoul Clay, this bar delivers one of the most thorough yet gentle cleansing experiences in our lineup.

Many of our customers with sensitive skin love our bars because we skip the harsh chemicals and synthetic additives found in conventional soaps — no sulfates, no parabens, no phthalates, no detergents. This bar contains fine mineral sand and fragrance, so if you have very sensitive or reactive skin check the ingredients list carefully. For the most sensitivity-friendly option, try our Unscented bar. As always, if any irritation occurs discontinue use and consult a medical professional.

With daily use, expect 2–4 weeks from a single bar, dependent upon individual lather style and storage. To get the most out of it, let the bar dry between uses — a soap ladder or soap rest makes a big difference. A wet bar sitting in a puddle will dissolve faster than one that drains and dries properly.
