Cotton Soap Sleeve

A soap sleeve is a naturally woven linen and cotton pouch that slips over your bar soap. Simply slide your bar inside, pull the drawstring, and lather up directly through the sleeve. The textured weave creates a rich lather while gently exfoliating your skin as you wash — sloughing away dead skin cells for a smoother, softer feel. When you're done, hang it by the drawstring loop to dry. The breathable weave allows your soap to dry properly between uses, extending the life of your bar.

Our soap sleeves are made from a blend of natural linen and cotton. The weave is firm enough to provide gentle exfoliation but soft enough for daily use on most skin types. The drawstring features a natural bead for easy hanging and a clean, finished look.

We recommend washing your sleeve once a week to keep it fresh and hygienic. It's fully machine washable — just toss it in with your regular laundry. Between washes, hang it to dry after each use so both the sleeve and the soap inside can air out properly.

Our soap sleeves measure 5.25in long by 3.5in wide — perfectly sized to fit our standard 5oz Private Oaks bar soaps. The drawstring closure keeps the bar secure while allowing easy access for lathering.

We currently offer three styles: Dark with Dark Bead, White with Pearl Bead, and White with Coffee Bead. Each style pairs beautifully with different Private Oaks bars — mix and match to suit your bathroom aesthetic.

Yes — in two ways. First, the breathable weave allows your soap to dry properly between uses rather than sitting in a puddle of water, which dramatically slows the rate of dissolving. Second, the sleeve helps you use every last bit of the bar — even the small end pieces that are hard to hold onto on their own get used up fully inside the sleeve.

The natural linen and cotton blend is gentle enough for most skin types. However if you have very sensitive or reactive skin, the exfoliating texture may be too stimulating for daily use. Start with lighter pressure and less frequent use to see how your skin responds.
